Videos of Masters champ Bubba Watson go viral
Bubba Watson will defend his Masters tournament title next week, but the enigmatic golfer is already making waves, thanks to a video making the rounds on the internet. The clip features Watson cruising around the golf course in a hovercraft cart - gliding over water hazards and sand traps - and has been viewed more than 3.1 million times.
The unusual video was a joint venture between Watson and Oakley, one of his newest sponsors. While it may be quite some time until hovercraft golf carts are the norm on courses across the country, Watson's unique approach to the game is part of his larger effort to help people think differently about golf.
"I just want to be different. I just want to bring fun to the game of golf," Watson recently told hosts Charlie Rose and Norah O'Donnell on CBS This Morning. "For me it was about - let's change it."
Watson's hovercraft video is not the only YouTube clip featuring the defending Masters champ. He, along with fellow golfers Rickie Fowler, Ben Crane and Hunter Mahan, recorded a rap video meant to raise money for the organization charity:water.
