Not even 2, young boy impresses with golf skills
Anybody who has picked up used golf clubs and hit the links likely knows how frustrating the game can be, which makes what one youngster is doing even that more impressive. Owen Kopinski, who is not even 2 years old, already has a hole-in-one to his name and has displayed an impressive swing for someone so young, NBC's "Today" show reports.
Kopinski got his start playing golf when his father Keith was hitting balls in the backyard. It wasn't long before the local golf community noticed his budding skills. While his dad recognizes that they won't actually start training him until he's several years older, for now he's content to let his son hit balls and putt all he wants.
"It's playtime," Kopinski told Today. "When he saw the green out here he wants a club right away ... he'll sit out here all day."
Kopinski's impressive skill at such a young age brings back memories of Tiger Woods famously appearing on The Mike Douglas Show in 1978 when he was just 2. Of course, Woods has gone on to win 14 majors (and counting), so it's safe to say that Kopinski may have a bright future ahead of him.
