ATLX and NCYS join forces
The National Council of Youth Sports recently announced that it is teaming up with the ATLX Channel, the only 24/7 sports entertainment network devoted to the everyday athlete. The television network is set to launch in 2014 with original content that touches on lifestyle, technology, biographies and more. The NCYS is excited to begin promoting youth athletes who work hard to play a role in their communities.
While most sports television networks are geared toward elite and professional athletes, this partnership is intended to encourage youth to have fun playing, be inspired by their peers and learn more about physical and sports culture.
"With its tremendous advocacy for all aspects of youth sports as well as its ground-breaking work in creating a safe and fun environment for our kids, the NCYS is the ideal partner for ATLX," Jacob Arback, CEO of ATLX said. "We plan to actively support the NCYS and all of its members by providing increased awareness for its causes and lending the support of our network to further the NCYS mission."
ATLX plans to highlight all sports and recreational activities to teach sport-specific training, sports medicine, injury prevention and motivation methods.
